Two-ways thrust ball bearings consist of a shaft washer, two races and two steel ball cage assemblies. The bearing is a split type, and each part can be installed independently. Two-way and one-way bearings use the same shaft washer, seat washer and ball cage assembly.

This type bearing can carry axial loads in both directions and are positioned as axial loads in both directions, but must not carry any radial loads. In order for a bearing to function well, thrust ball bearings, like all ball and roller bearings, must withstand a certain minimum load, especially at high speeds or accelerations, or when the direction of the load changes rapidly.

Application:

Thrust ball bearings are only suitable for parts that carry axial loads and rotate at low speeds.
